"On August 1st, the Houston GOLD program team took a field trip to the Howard Energy Partners-Reveille Gas Plant in Freer, Texas. During the visit, the 10 GOLD candidates got a chance to walk-down the facility which involved glycol dehydration, cryogenic gas processing, amine product treating and gas compression. Plant operators explained the details of the process and described the role of all the equipment in the plant, with emphasis on the critical cryogenic components. In addition to asking questions about various portions of the facility, the team was able to follow the plant P&IDs and understand how the engineering and design evolved to produce a complete gas plant design. This site visit is one of the many ways the GOLD program helps employees excel at Audubon—providing career-focused training and hands-on field experience. " - Talal El Awar, Instrument Engineer
