Experience. auduboncompanies.com info@auduboncompanies.com REV0-16-APR-2020 Scope Of Work Audubon Companies' automation and controls group was contracted by a downstream oil and gas company to upgrade and segregate the existing ICS control system for a fractionation plant. The new control systems included a separate Basic Process Control System (BPCS) and Safety Instrumented System (SIS). The BPCS used the Yokogawa CENTUM VP DCS platform and the SIS consisted of an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC with SIL1 and SIL2 SIFs. Audubon Companies was responsible for the BPCS programming, SIS programming, communication between the BPCS and SIS systems, testing and field startup.
