To reduce the carbon emissions of a 300 MW natural gas-driven power plant, Audubon Companies provided
engineering and economic evalua ons and modeling to implement a stack gas CO2 capture (approximately 1.1
MMTPA of CO2) and cleanup system to produce a pipeline-quality CO2 product. The project evaluated several
large capacity CO2 capture technologies for flue gas applica ons for concept selec on based on opera onal
efficiency and capital expenditures. Included in the design of the system was VOC, SOX, and water removal. A
motor drive centrifugal compressor(20,000 HP) was selected for CO2 transmission to the pipeline.
