PROJECT PROFILE: Davy Jones I & II CLIENT: McMoRan Oil and Gas LOCATION: Gulf of Mexico (GOM), SMI-230 & SMI-234 • Greenfield development • Deep drill high pressure, high temperature (HP/HT) well • Gas production with condensate • CO2 and H2S concentrations/amine treating • Water depth is approximately 20 ft • Design capabilities (each well): 75 MMSCFD, 750 BOPD, 2,500 BOPD (condensate) • Designed to GOM standards • Production option evaluation • Front-end Engineering Design (FEED) • Detailed topsides engineering and design • Process modeling for equipment sizing • Structural design of jackets, decks, flare booms, heliports, etc. • Electrical engineering and instrument design for monitoring, control, and safety • Startup and commissioning • Procurement and expediting PROJECT OVERVIEW PROJECT SCOPE Audubon Engineering Solutions performed the Front-end Engineering Design (FEED), detailed design, procurement, construction support, startup and commissioning for McMoRan's greenfield central process and satellite facilities. Our staff provided the structural design of various project elements, including jackets, decks, flare booms and heliports. The scope of work also included process modeling, equipment sizing and design, electrical engineering, instrument design, high temperatures and pressures, high CO2 and H2S concentrations and associated amine treating.
