PROJECT PROFILE: NGL Storage Facility CLIENT: A Major Oil & Gas Manufacturing and Logistics Company LOCATION: Brazoria County, TX auduboncompanies.com Visit our website to learn more about our featured projects • 5 underground NGL salt-dome storage caverns • Brine de-gasification system ◦ 9,200 GPM of brine flow • Over 1 mile of pipeline • 6 million barrels for underground NGL storage • 2 motor control center (MCC) buildings • Bi-directional product manifold system for 5 pipeline tie-ins • Design capabilities: ◦ 7.5 MMbbl of NGL ◦ Cavern depth: 4,500 ft. • Facilities topsides design • Process design • Civil/Structural engineering • Total Installed Cost (TIC) estimating • PHA and LOPA reviews • Brine injection and transfer pumps • Automated bi-directional manifold system • Product pipeline tie-ins • Electrical and control system design PROJECT OVERVIEW PROJECT SCOPE Audubon Engineering Solutions' scope of work included process design and engineering for the facility's topsides, Total Installed Cost (TIC) estimating, P&IDs, and PHA and LOPA reviews. Additional services included performing a Front-end Engineering Design (FEED) study to determine the scope of work and EPC schedule, and risk register for the entire project. Completion on the 7.5 MMbbl NGL storage project was accelerated and completed within 12 months.
